Busan: Taejongdae

Taejongdae is one of the representative scenic sites of Busan. It is located at the Southern most tip of Yeongdo-gu. It is famous because Tsushima Islands of Japan can be seen from here.

To visit Taejongdae, take the Busan subway to Nampo station (Line 1, Orange Line, Station 111), Exit 6. Once you exit from the station, walk straight until you reach a bus stop. From the bus stop, we took Bus 88. The bus journey is approximately 30-40 minutes.

We went to Taejongdae on a weekday and it wasn't too crowded. There isn't much to do there but if you love to take photos, you would love this place. If you have time, you may want to make a trip to Taejongdae. The park is huge and you may choose to take the Danubi Circular Train so that you don't have to walk too much.

This is Tea Kettle Island located in front of Taejongdae. The name comes from its shape which looks like a kettle.
